SENT ON BEHALF OF VINTERS VALLEY NATURE RESERVE
09/10/2025
Vinters Valley Nature Reserve is your local wildlife oasis tucked away between the Vinters Park and Grove Green housing estates and also close to Vinters Community School. Whatever the season there is always something to see, something to enjoy and something to treasure. Comprising 90 acres and once part of a large 18th century country estate the area has been transformed, with the help of people from the local community, into a much loved nature reserve.
We are a Charitable Trust made up of a local group of volunteers who are passionate about the Nature Reserve which was founded over thirty years ago.
We are actively looking for two volunteers to support the Trust.
- Vinters Valley Administrator. This voluntary role is to attend quarterly meetings and to send out agendas, take minutes and support the Trustees and volunteers. Meetings are normally held at either Vinters Park or Grove Green Community Centres.
- Social Media Champion. This exciting voluntary role is to support and provide updates to our website, Facebook and Instagram pages. This post would be ideal for somebody with some spare time to raise awareness of the Nature Reserve in the community.
Please contact Chris Sheppard if you are interested neither voluntary role by emailing me on chrisbsheppard@btinternet.com
